Following sell out shows at the London, Dubai and Cheltenham Jazz Festivals, vibrant young singer and pianist Anthony Strong releases the ‘Delovely’ EP, a 5-track collection of innovative adaptations of classic jazz standards and original compositions which will be supported by a 10 date UK tour.
A truly incredible pianist, with a voice to match, Strong’s music has been described as “energetic, slick and exhilarating” and his contribution to the standards revival has seen him compared to the likes of Michael Buble and Harry Connick Jr.
Strong’s engaging performance style has led to bookings at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and the 606 Club, a plethora of television and radio appearances, and collaborations with the likes of high profile jazz trumpeter Chris Botti and rising starlet Natalie Williams.
This month Amazon featured his EP as a ‘Notable Release’ on the front page of their MP3 downloads page. This is the first time that Amazon have ever featured an unsigned artist on a front page.
