The eldest son of Hollywood star Clint Eastwood - who he credits as introducing him to jazz and the joys of the bass - Kyle Eastwood is an accomplished performer on the electric bass, upright acoustic and double bass.

In 2004 he signed to Candid Records for whom he has recorded two critically acclaimed CDs, Paris Blue and Now. As well as performing, Kyle is also a respected film score composer.

His work in this area includes contributions to the score of Mystic River, three pieces of music for the 2004 Blockbuster Million Dollar Baby which went on to win four Academy Awards.

He has recently been working with his father on two film projects, Flags of our Fathers and Red Sun Black Sand.
