It is with great sadness that we must announce that Keith Shadwick, who after battling a rare form of cancer for the past three years, passed away on Monday 28th July 2008.
Candid Records will be holding a charity event at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club on August 5th in memory of Keith’s life and work, with proceeds from the night going to help support research and treatment of the disease. Candid Records is going to fulfil Keith's wish and honour his memory with the release of a Special Edition of his CD entitled Free Time. This will be given away at the event or can be purchased from the Candid Records website, www.candidrecords.com. All proceeds will go the Bart's Charity supporting the fight against mesothelioma - www.mesothelioma.co.uk
With Keith’s passing, we have lost a brilliantly knowledgeable author and journalist, a talented musician, and a dear and respected friend. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family.
