Upcoming Gigs

My dad was honoured the BBC Jazz Awards on Monday night and I am so proud of him! He truly deserves this award as has dedicated his life to jazz music since the 1940's. Thank you to Jamie Cullum and Kyle Eastwood for being there and supporting my dad, and thanks to Jeff Beck for making the performance extra special. Lets all vote for Steve Rubie to get the award next year as I/we think he is a wonderful man and who has also dedicated so much of his time and energy to jazz.

I am also incredibly pleased that the newly named Get The Blessing signed to my dad's label Cake won The Best Album category and that our very own Tony Kofi (Specific Jazz) won Best Instrumentalist!

It was truly an incredible night....but I am so glad that I can get some sleep now!
