Upcoming Gigs

It was my first trip to the IMAX and I wasn't quite sure what to expect but it was very impressive.
U2:3D = The footage was shot in South America on their last tour. I put on my 3D glasses and "Vertigo" suddenley kicked in with a really great intro - the surround sound was top class. You really do feel like you have the best seat in the house zooming round the stage, watching the show from all angles - behind the drum kit and in front of, from the side of the stage, above etc.
They whisked through some of their classics including Where the streets have no name, Pride and Bullet the Blue Sky - with Bono coming towards you from all angles.
With or Without You was a personel highlight - sounded great and it was a brilliant performance. Also nice to see them play The Fly - been far too long.

I would reccommend seeing this even if you aren't the biggest U2 fan. It was worth the £12 and was the next best thing to the gigs itself.
