Air Expands!
My first ever blog of any kind oddly enough. For work purposes I have a page on most social networks, but I never felt the need to actually type anything.
It's taken some time to finally move into the new office, but thank God we now have. The new place is about three times the size of the Barnes office and is so much airier. We are on the top floor, in a double height office with windows on three sides. We have an open plan main office with desk 'islands' for each department - one for tours, one for digital and two each for management and media. In addition we have a large storeroom with a fancy archive of all the albums we have ever worked, and a boardroom that still needs a bit of pimping. You'll be glad to know that the office colour scheme matches the website - dark grey and orange. It might sound odd and a little Easyjet, but it really works. Dark shelves, desks, humour, and flashes of orange here and there: chairs, mugs, kettle...
I have to thank the whole team for helping with the move, especially Gary and Sheela who did most of the organising. If Gary never has to speak to BT again it will be too soon. Unlike our corporate friends, when you run your own small business there's no-one else to do the box carrying, wall painting and assembling of furniture. It has been knackering to say the least, but I'm very proud of the new office, and proud of a team of people whose hard work and dedication created the need for expansion in the first place. So I thank Air, and I thank all our wonderful clients with whom we enjoy working and who make all this worthwhile. Air has needed more space for some time. Hopefully you will feel the benefit that the increased efficiency the extra capacity here creates.
Please do come and visit, we'd love to see you. We have a great coffee machine, and a fine set of wine glasses should you bring a celebratory bottle of wine!
All for now.
Marc.
