Upcoming Gigs

What an amazing weekend. It isn’t really that often I get the pleasure of sitting on grass at festivals; there really was plenty of it at Latitude festival this year, Plenty to walk on too!! Flying flags and hog roasts fit for medieval kings, bbq, falafel, smoothies, and Pimms served in the woods, purple sheep and…purple sheep?! You’ll have to see what I mean, you really have to be there!!

I was very excited to be invited as a delegate to this years Glasgow International Jazz Festival. The Scottish scene is thriving and I have to say with musicians like Ryan Quigley and the refreshing Dave Milligan leading the scene I was glad I took the invitation. Ryan who performed in a packed City Halls Recital Rooms was in fact one of the highlights of the weekend but not only Ryan there was also the young enterprising Alyn Cosker supporting the legend Bobby Watson in an acoustically beautiful Fruitmarket.

Air has just got back from an extremely successful trip to the Jazzahead conference in Bremen, Germany!
