Upcoming Gigs

Hello from Los Angeles!

Been here for two weeks now and I can tell you it has been a great couple of weeks! I've been meeting a lot of different people in all areas of the industry and have attended some fantastic gigs....First of all there was Jamie Cullum's gig with the Count Basie Orchestra at the fantastic Hollywood Bowl (which is now my new favourite venue), then Radiohead two nights in a row(!)- also at the Bowl, which was the hottest ticket in town. It was an excellent live show!

Today I attended the Jay Leno show where the legendary Chuck Berry performed his classic Johnny Be.Goode. I even had the pleasure of meeting him before his performance which was a true honour. I have been to few smaller venues too such as the key club (kas - where were you?!) and the roxy where I witnessed possibly the worst act of all time - one man, his guitar and his drum machine....... enough said.

I do like LA, it has a lot to offer and nice to see at least some sunshine this summer. Back next week, the burgers are huge, but I'll survive. I have been mostly impressed with not just the girls, not the music scene, but TJ's driving.... the boy did well.
